Places I Like to perform
Sacrebleu Bar & Coffee Lounge, Southport.
As an acoustic musician, there's nothing quite like performing live in front of an audience. And for me, there's one place where I get to do just that on a regular basis - Sacrebleu bar in Southport. Playing there fortnightly has become a particular highlight of my musical career, and I can't imagine not having this opportunity.
There are so many things that make Sacrebleu bar such a special place to perform. Firstly, the atmosphere is incredible. The bar is always packed with people who are there to have a good time, and that energy is infectious. As soon as I start playing, I can feel the audience's excitement, and it motivates me to give my all.
The staff at Sacrebleu are also fantastic. James, Ruth, Bev and Mark the current owners are all very welcoming and always accommodating in every aspect.
They're incredibly supportive, and they always make sure that we have everything I need to put on a great show. From setting up my equipment to providing us with refreshments during our breaks, they go above and beyond to make sure we're comfortable and happy.
But of course, the main reason I love playing at Sacrebleu is the music itself. As an acoustic musician, I get to perform a wide range of songs - from classic covers to my own original compositions. And the audience at Sacrebleu is always receptive to my music, which is incredibly rewarding. There's nothing quite like the feeling of seeing people singing along, or hearing them clap and cheer at the end of a particularly good performance.
Overall, playing at Sacrebleu bar has been an amazing experience for me. It's allowed me to share my music with a wider audience, meet new people, and develop my skills as a musician. I feel incredibly grateful for the opportunity, and I can't wait for my next performance there. If you're ever in Southport and looking for a great night out, I highly recommend checking out Sacrebleu bar - you never know, you might just discover your new favourite musician.
